Because today is ___ Day !!!!
Happy Chinese NEW YEAR !!!
Welcome "Year of the Fire PIG"
The Chinese New Year begins on February 18, 2007.
This will celebrate the 4705 lunar years in the Chinese calendar.
This year celebrates the Year of the Pig.
There are twelve animal signs for the Chinese calendar and the pig or boar represents the last sign of the lunar calendar.
The New Year's festival lasts 15 days.
The twelve animals
of Chinese Astrology:
Rat
Ox
Tiger
Rabbit
Dragon
Snake
Horse
Sheep
Monkey
Rooster
Dog
Boar/PIG
The Pig
This image of the fire Pig is represented by yin fire sitting on the yin water of the Pig.
As water and fire clash when they occur together, the dynamics of 2007 are likely to bring conflict, struggle and disharmony.
International conflicts may continue and even intensify.
Some countries may experience the overtaking of their governments and the emergence of a new regime.
However in the longer-term, events that come to the surface during 2007 may actually lead to more positive and harmonious global relationships between countries and between communities.
The Pig generally is considered to be a peace-maker – generous, compassionate, tolerant and understanding of others.
In fiery situations the energy of the Pig will seek to quell disharmony and unrest.
However the Pig also enjoys luxury and material wealth, so any threat to these comforts could be met with defensiveness
